Dentures / Partial Dentures

Dentures and Partial Dentures are a removable replacement for missing teeth. These appliances are made of an acrylic resin making them more aesthetic and comfortable. A complete set of dentures is for patients who have no remaining teeth while partial dentures are for patients who are missing several teeth.

Tooth loss makes it difficult to chew, causes loss of support to the muscles of the face, has a negative impact on nutrition and self confidence. Dentures help in all these areas by being specifically designed to look, feel and function like natural teeth.

Dentures are typically placed as a result of:
  • Loss of teeth
  • Periodontal disease
  • Trauma

Types of Dentures:
Standard Full Dentures
Traditional Partial Dentures
Precision Partial Dentures

How it's done.
Dentures require several appointments depending on each individual treatment plan. Typically a treatment plan will include some extractions, a series of impressions, and 'try ins" to assure a good fit.

It is recommended that a consultation with the dentist be set to discuss which type of removable appliance is best.
